CSR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

* I do not have internet access, what can I do?

1. You can walk-in without an appointment Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm to get registered  

*(Closed 12:30pm –1:30pm)

2. Bring your referral form or court papers
3. Probation $58 fee, Municipal Courts $43 fee (cash, debit/credit card or money order)

* Why do I need to register and pay a fee?

The fee is an administration fee (VolunteerNow CSR Program is responsible for providing you with a list of approved locations to work, verify your hours upon completion, and report your hours)

1. Registration generates a VolunteerNow timesheet. You will need our timesheet to log your community service restitution (CSR) hours.
2. Registration gives you a list of approved locations where you can work. (CSR hours must be worked at the approved list of locations assigned to you)

*Refund Policy

1. Refunds must be requested within 90 days of applying and are assessed on a case-by-case basis, meaning that the decision to grant a refund depends on the specific circumstances of each situation.

* I registered, what's next?

1. Make sure to print your timesheet (Log in www.volycsr.org timesheet is located on the right side of your dashboard - print timesheet)
2. The locations you selected are on the timesheet that includes their contact information
3. Call the locations on the timesheet to find out when you can start working (they are not going to call/email/text you, you must reach out to them)
4. Make sure you bring your timesheet with you every time you work
5. Make sure that the date, times, and total hours worked for the day are logged and that an agency representative signs your timesheet after each day worked so you can receive credit

 * I cannot reach anyone at the locations I selected to work, what do I do?

1. You can go to the location in person to speak to someone regarding volunteer opportunities available
2. If you are needing a reassignment, email ydavalos@volnow.org or www.vol.cayzu.com 

* Can I work my hours at more than one of the approved selected locations?

1. Yes, you can work at more than one of the approved locations on your list
2. Make sure that you only work at the locations on your list
3. We will not accept hours worked at a location that you have not been referred to by VolunteerNow

*I completed my hours, where do I turn them in?

1. Email a clear picture of the whole timesheet to: ydavalos@volnow.org
2. You can bring or mail your timesheet to our office at 2800 Live Oak Street, Dallas, TX 75204
3. Make sure to note the agency(s) location where CSR hours were worked
4. Make sure an agency representative has signed all working days to receive credit
5. If you have a probation officer, make sure to write your current officers name on the timesheet
6. If you do not have an officer, a completion letter is needed, email ydavalos@volnow.org or come to the office during office hours

 *I cannot locate my officer's name.

1. If you do not see your officer's name, select Officer Not Found
2. We will update your officer's name once you have completed all your hours to make sure a report is sent to the correct person.

*What if I do not have a ML/CID #

1. If you don’t have one, you can leave it blank.
2. If you have a SID# you can put it in this section.

 *I do not see my list of references

1. The only way to see the agency's contact information, is by PRINTING THE TIMESHEET (Log in www.volycsr.org timesheet is located on the right side of your dashboard)
2. The Referral Form is for you to turn into your probation officer to confirm registration
3. The timesheet is what you will use to get the agency's contact information and to record the hours worked
4. Only volunteer at the approved location(s) on your timesheet
5. If the referrals do not work for you, for a reassignment email ydavalos@volnow.org or come to our office

 *How does the canned good donation work & can I participate?

1. You must have approval from your probation officer to be able to donate for community service hours
