The volunteer application or background check consent will not accept my Date of Birth

Please note that you must use the correct format of 2-digit month, 2-digit day and 4 digit year for the Date of Birth. For example, if you were born January 31st, 1979, you must enter the Date of Birth as 01/31/1979.
If you are using the correct format, please check what Type of Volunteer you selected above the Date of Birth part of the volunteer application. If you selected that you were a Student (Minor) Volunteer and entered a Date of Birth that does not match a Date of Birth for a minor, then the VOLY application will not accept it.
